"THE WORLD IS BEAUTIFUL". Opening of the exhibition of artistic embroidery by Alla Verigina

On August 20 at 4 pm Odessa House-Museum named after N. Roerich invites residents of Odessa and guests of the city to the opening of the exhibition of artistic embroidery by Alla Verigina "THE WORLD IS BEAUTIFUL". Alla Dmitrievna Verigina - doctor, candidate of medical sciences; for more than 20 years has been an employee of the Odessa House-Museum named after N.K. Roerich. The exhibition, timed to coincide with the author's 90th anniversary, presents embroidery in the technique of double-sided smoothing and a cross. The subject matter of the works is varied, the viewer has the opportunity to trace the transformation of nature from early spring and wild flowering in summer to autumn wilting and snowy winter landscape. Especially interesting are the numerous flower arrangements, the bright colors of which will delight any spectator. Most of the works reflect the state of mind and emotional response to significant events in life. Alla Dmitrievna Verigina's works are in private collections in Odessa, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Vladivostok, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Krakow, Berlin.
