Project "SEVEN BOOKS VALERY KHAIT" The World Club of Odessa citizens announces a series of presentations of Valery Khait's books, published in 2021 by the publishing house of the Kiev magazine "Raduga". The series opens with the presentation of the book “The Last Utopia. Free Reflections of a Hopeless Optimist. What is this book about? The author writes about it like this: “People tend to think. And not only about their daily bread and other everyday concerns. Not only about how to be successful in the business you are doing. Not only about how to increase your capital and become rich. Although, God knows, life is built today in such a way that a person does not think about anything else. However, there are exceptions. So this book is about them. The author himself defines its content as follows: it is "like a diary of my inner life, which, in fact, all the years passed in me parallel to the one that I lived outwardly." The author's inherent optimism, faith in common sense and progress, in future harmony, despite the fact that the current world demonstrates the complete opposite of all this, allows even in the most catastrophic manifestations of life to reveal sprouts of hope, signs of recovery, features of the wonderful future for which we are and came to this world.
