Whoever is lucky is another question, but we decided to show you an exceptionally correct, real image of Odessa Jews In the newly created, author's route through the iconic places of Jewish history, you will see and hear: ✡ Odessa is the homeland of the Jewish people! Again, about the birth of modern Israel in our city! ✡ The first decades of the formation of the Jewish community + some correct statistics! ✡ “Odessa” is a synonym for “Jewish”. Who are the real residents of Odessa and how the Jews influenced the identity of South Palmyra! ✡ Lots of detailed historical references for specific addresses! ✡ Becoming modern communal life! ✡ An interesting story of Odessa "Anne Frank"! ✡ The story of one "Halabuda"! ✡ What is kosher and where is it eaten?  This and much more on a sunny walk by two famous and one of the best guides in the city, Vladimir Chaplin and Evgeny Grinkevich! We will walk from Cathedral Square past Beit Grand, along Zhukovsky and Nechipurenko Lane, look at Jewish Street from different sides (and we assure you, you haven’t looked at this historic street from this side yet), Troitskaya and Ekaterininskaya will tell their secrets. And, of course, we will live up to the name of all this kipish. So - bikitzer on an excursion and for three hours be distracted by the Jewish history of Odessa!   Sunday 19th September at 10:00. Beginning: at the monument to Vorontsov on Cathedral Square.
