At school, you will understand the management of acute and chronic pain: 1. Physiology of nociception and antinociception, possible pathological changes. 2. Modern concepts of multimodal analgesia before, during and after surgery. 3. Algorithms for preventing pain chronicity and combating breakthrough pain. 4. Neurologists' view of the problem, analgesia and modern therapy regimens. 5. Communication with patients with chronic pain and options for managing incurable patients with pain.
