Cinema Club "Arthouse Club" presents "The Double Life of Veronica" - special screening

October 27 - the next film screening in the framework of the Cult of Cinema project - a joint project of the Arthouse Traffic film distributor and the Multiplex network - a series of special screenings on 4K-screens of restorations of classic films of world cinema. This time our viewers will see the exclusive and only screening in Odessa of the famous film "The Double Life of Veronica" by the legend of European cinema Krzysztof Kieslowski. 2021 marks the 30th anniversary of the film and at the same time the 80th anniversary of the birth of its director, a recognized master of cinema. This is exactly what the release of the film on Ukrainian screens is timed to. The plot of the tape revolves around two very similar girls with the same name. Veronica lives in Poland, who, having a good voice, begins to perform on stage. Another Veronica lives in France, who also dreams of singing, but she fails to fulfill her desire, and she plunges headlong into the joy of love ... They both are connected by something invisible: when the life path of one ends, the other seems to pick up and continue her life. .. The premiere of the tape took place at the Cannes Film Festival in 1991, where the work was awarded three awards: for the best acting actress (Irene Jacob), from the International Federation of Film Press (FIPRESCI) and from the ecumenical jury.
