We invite to the lecture by musicologist Elena Shevchenko "Tango in Jazz" (to the centenary of Astor Piazzolla). We will learn the history of tango, listen to the famous Piazzolla melodies performed by the author, as well as versions of different instruments, ensembles and orchestras. And one more thing: this evening you will hear tango performed by the guests of the Odessa International Jazz Festival of different years, including 2021 - a gift from a trio from Austria, who have bassist their own compositions.
