We often are in the thrall of emotions and not even realize that they determine the quality of life. A Wake-up call in the morning, which charged "positive" for the day and turned on the head all the plans. Socks scattered around the apartment after a hard day's work and voila - provided "warm" family night. Thoughts on "lack of qualifications" themselves and fear of failure in the interview separate you from your dream job. To break free from the emotional load, it is important to understand:  The emotions are built-in programs that are triggered under certain conditions.  Emotions – the brain's response to internal sensations or external information. Understanding the brain allows a person to regulate these reactions. Practical 8-week course on "Emotional well being" in Mindspot is eight weeks of training emotional intelligence accompanied by certified instructors Mindspot. Syllabus: Week 1 — What are emotions? How do they arise? Is it possible to manage this process? What determines the capacity for emotional self-regulation? The relationship of body, mind, emotions. As body work and thinking helps the development of psychological stability. What is mindfulness? How and why to practice it in the context of emotion control? What effect the practice has on physical health, psychological stability and success in various spheres of life? Week 2 — the Point of choice and freedom of behavior. Security. Stability. Clarity. Week 3 — Range of emotions. Variability of emotions, energy to action.Attention, the brain and neuroplasticity. An overview of current research about the benefits of mindfulness for emotional competence. Week 4 — Alignment as one of the main methods of working with emotions. "Physical barometer" - how to discover, configure, and retrieve information? Week 5 — Emotion, empathy, the principles of nonviolent communication and common sense. That be my control and what is not? How to take care of themselves? How can I feel better? Week 6 — non-violent communication. I-communications, reliance on facts and feelings. Empathic listening. Conscious speaking. Week 7 — the Ability to notice and build on the positive. Cultivation of positive emotional States (Metta): balance, gratitude, friendliness, compassion, rejoicing in the good. Week 8 — review of the practical life hacks that you can implement in your daily life. Review of simple and effective exercises that have been mastered on the course. What result do you get after 8 weeks of work on the course?  Understanding of their emotions: where they come from and how they work; Recognition of a spectrum of emotions: their saturation and variability; Acceptance and permission: 'll be able to find peace within himself and not fight with them; Self-control: learn to control themselves in the presence of emotion any force.
